Panorama Blue Hotel Apartments - accommodation in the Old Town of Nessebar

The ancient Old Town of Nessebar has its own unique atmosphere. I was enchanted from the first moment I crossed the ancient gate.

I was so enchanted by it during my first day stay that we decided to come back again and look for accommodation in the Old Town, so that we could enjoy the view and the charm of the historic streets in the morning and evening, when the crowds of tourists visiting this place every day finish their sightseeing and leave for their resorts.

Overnight stays in the heart of the Old Town also have some restrictions. First of all, no motor vehicles are allowed to enter the area, except for residents and delivery drivers who have special permission to do so.

This problem, however, is quite well solved by the designated parking lots at the entrance to the Old Town, where you can easily leave your car, and taxi ranks from where you can easily reach your chosen accommodation.

Another inconvenience directly related to the Old Town's cascading location on the island is the countless number of narrow stone steps to climb.

Unfortunately, the cobblestone streets, narrow passages and stone steps are not friendly to people with special needs.

When deciding to spend the night in the ancient city, choosing an apartment in a small boutique guesthouse, we were aware of all these inconveniences and found a guesthouse located on the first line of the coast. The fact that we could take a taxi almost to the entrance, calmed us down immensely, because it did not save us from dragging our suitcases along the cobbled streets. Nevertheless, getting to our place with luggage was not at all that easy, because we had to overcome quite steep narrow stairs to the top, but what wouldn't you do for beautiful views and beautiful places.

Panorama Blue Hotel apartments , located in a traditional stone and wooden Bulgarian house overlooking the Black Sea, were found, as always, on our reliable and favorite website - BOOKING

From the available offer we chose a standardly equipped room with a balcony overlooking the sea. After the season (we were there in mid-September) for a three-day stay for two people we paid 403 BGN (Bulgarian levs) in conversion of about 950 PLN Polish zlotys.

The room is equipped with a comfortable King Size bed plus an additional extra bed, because the rooms are adapted for family holidays with children. Wardrobe, bedside tables, desk, kettle, unfortunately no mini fridge, which can be a bit inconvenient during a longer stay (on hot days there is nowhere to store milk for coffee).

Standard bathroom, shower, toilet, sink. Equipped with towels, mini cosmetic sets, hair dryer.

On the balcony there is a tourist table and chairs, adding a beautiful view of the sea, a cup of delicious coffee in the morning and a bottle of Bulgarian wine in the evening, what can I say - stay a while because you are beautiful.

The guesthouse has its own small restaurant on the lower level, unfortunately in the off-season it only offers breakfast for guests and possibly drinks (coffee, tea, juices, beer, wine, other alcohols), but this is not a big problem either, because as the street is long, in each subsequent building there is some other restaurant. Generally, the place smells of delicious food. I recommend Bulgarian cuisine.
